  • Mother Dough

Having been an East Coaster my whole life, I've searched high and low for some great pizza since moving to LA. Mother Dough is now my go-to with their thin crust neapolitan style pizza. thin in the middle, doughy around the edge, chewy, yet a bit crisp and toasty from the 850 degree oven. The melted buffalo mozzarella sits on top fresh San Marzano tomato sauce for what tastes like the perfect mix of chewy and crispy crust, fresh and light sauce, and gooey mozzarella cheese. 4648 Hollywood Blvd.
  • CanelĂ©

I loved the low-key neighborhood vibe mixed with the French influence at Canelé. It feels like a restaurant I'd find in Brooklyn with a comforting ease about it that I just love. My favorites for brunch are the baked pancake with meyer lemon custard, the mixed berries, the house made ginger ale, and the fried chicken sandwich. A new weekly brunch spot? Yes! 3219 Glendale Blvd
  • Red Medicine

Red Medicine is quickly becoming one of my new favorite restaurants in Los Angeles. The mix of Southeast Asian inspired flavors and dishes with a bit of molecular gastronomy... the plating is always stunning and the flavors are incredible. They also have some gorgeous cocktails that are just as delicious as they are beautiful. 8400 Wilshire Blvd
  • Carmela Ice Cream

I've previously gotten my Carmela ice cream fix at local farmer's markets, so I'm thrilled that my addiction can now be satiated every day of the week {if I so choose}! Their fresh flavor palate focuses on garden-inspired ingredients such as herbs and spices, flowers, and seasonal fruit to create delicious small-batch, artisan ice cream. In addition to my favorite salted caramel flavor, they're always stocked with some ridiculously tasty ice cream sandwiches. 2495 E Washington Blvd
  • Shops

  • Broome St. General Store

My new favorite local Silver Lake spot for a quick bite to eat and an assortment of great finds...from vintage candy to organic baby bedding. I love the general store feel with a modern spin and the tasty sandwiches, tarts and cookies, and fried chicken Fridays! 2912 Rowena Ave
  • Hollywood Farmer's Market

There's something about going to the Hollywood Farmer's Market on a Sunday morning that just screams happiness to me. Walking the huge market for the week's groceries while enjoying lunch from a medley of food vendors...it just doesn't get any better. Ivar & Selma Avenue
