Wurstkuche
German sausage spot. All they serve is sausages & fries (veggie sausage options too). The Kielbasa is amazing. They have a rad curry ketchup. You can also get sausages with rattle snake and alligator. It's a total mess at night on the weekends, so go any other time. 800 E 3rd ST

Everyone always talks about the taco trucks in LA, but this taco hut is amazing.. the carnets tacos w/honey chipotle will blow your mind. I literally ate 25 of them in 3 days when I first moved to Glendale. 3300 Glendale Blvd

Sunset Hollywood Horse Ranch
There are 60 miles of horse trails in the Hollywood Hills.. go up to the Sunset Ranch and get on a horse and take it all in. I took riding lessons there for 3 years.. it's pretty amazing hanging out with such rad animals. You can also just go up there and pet the horses and feed them carrots if you're scared of riding. 3400 N Beachwood Dr

Drive up the 101 north and exit on Kanan and take the beautiful drive through Agoura Hills then end up at Leo Carillo Beach. It's full of caves and coves and long strips of beautiful beach.. 23200 Pacific Coast Highway
